It picks up some surrounding noises - in a pleasant quality. I don't use the built in noise cancellation.

The CKMOVA SXM5 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone. It provides more clarity and sensitivity than the SUM3 and can easily compete with the Audiotechnica AT2020.
It's small size makes it very attractive and I am using it every day.
